In parallel with the delivery of the first M7 metro trains, the STIB training centre received a brand new driving simulator in mid-2020. Metro drivers can train as if they were in the real driver's cabin of the new M7 metro.

The M7 training course comprises 4 modules. Each module consists of a theoretical part, and a practical part in the simulator or the train itself.
