STIB and Plan International Belgium decided to join forces to combat gender-based harassment on Brussels public transport. One of the results of this collaboration was the launch of a campaign, carried out in collaboration with young activists from the NGO.

In 2020, Plan International asked two Belgian cartoonists - Philip Geluck and Eva Mouton - to create a range of exclusive masks to benefit its projects to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Africa, Asia and Latin America. STIB decided to support its partner by selling these masks on stibstore, its online sales site.

The collaboration between STIB and the NGO Plan International Belgium will continue in 2021 and lead to new initiatives to combat gender-based harassment on public transport.
